1. Agreement to Terms
By registering for an account, listing property, making payments, or browsing CampusAparte (“the Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue platform use immediately.
2. Student & Resident Obligations
- Accurate Information: Students must provide true identity details during registration and booking.
- Safe Pay Usage: To prevent fraud, all rental commitments and deposits must be processed through CampusAparte Safe Pay. Paying landlords outside the platform invalidates fraud coverage and guarantee mechanisms.
- Inspection & Move-in Confirmation: Students have a 24-hour verification window following key handover to report material discrepancies between physical property conditions and listed specifications.
3. Landlord & Host Obligations
- Physical Verification: All properties must pass physical inspection by our Simba Fleet inspection team before public approval.
- Pricing Accuracy: Listed prices must clearly disclose all utility charges, agency fees, or caution deposits. Hidden fees discovered at move-in constitute grounds for full refund.
- Habitability Guarantee: Landlords warrant that rented rooms possess functional water, electrical distribution, secure locks, and conform to campus housing standards.
4. Disputes & Escrow Resolution
In the event of a dispute prior to fund disbursement, CampusAparte customer mediation holds funds in escrow until an inspection report is reviewed or mutual resolution is agreed upon.
